An old world grape made in a new world style, this Sangiovese was born to illustrate why California is not just great at making food friendly wines, but also to show off its adopted second home at our estate in the Santa Ynez Valley. On the palate the red plum is confirmed with nice tannin structure. The tannins are present but not out of control; these will soften immensely with some bottle age.
